Kautilyan AI (“Kautilyan”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

What data we collect

When you book a diagnosis, download a resource, complete our workflow assessment, or contact us, we may collect:

• Full name
• Work email address
• Phone number (if you provide it)
• Company name and role
• Descriptions of workflows, pain points, or operational context you share in forms or sessions
• Scheduling preferences and assessment responses

How we use your data

We use your data only to:

• Facilitate and prepare for your diagnosis session or assessment
• Deliver reports, resources, or follow-up communication you requested
• Improve our services and respond to enquiries

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Website analytics

With your permission, we use PostHog product analytics to understand how visitors find the site, which audience path they choose, whether they begin or complete the assessment, and which calls to action lead to a requested resource or conversation.

• Analytics is off until you select “Allow analytics”.
• We use explicit business events rather than recording every click.
• Session replay is disabled.
• Assessment answer text and operational responses are not sent as analytics event properties.
• After you voluntarily submit a form, analytics may associate your journey with the contact details you provided so we can understand which channel produced the enquiry.

You can change your choice at any time using “Analytics settings” in the footer. Selecting “Essential only” does not affect the assessment, reports, resources, or booking flows.

Storage and retention

Data is stored in secure cloud systems (including Google Workspace and scheduling tools we use to run sessions). We retain contact and session data for up to 24 months after our last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is required by law or an active engagement.

Third-party processors

We use trusted service providers (including Cal.com for scheduling, Google Apps Script/Sheets for form submissions, PostHog for consented website analytics, and email delivery services) solely to operate our services. These providers process data on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing founders@kautilyan.com. We will respond within the timelines required under the DPDP Act.
